About the group
The breakfast began years ago so men could chat and meet other men from different denominations. The group’s chefs cook breakfast, and a presentation or guest speaker talks about the area and what makes it great. It starts at 8 a.m. and is over by 9:30, so there is still time for the to-do list at home. Ask us for the next date.
Recent speakers have talked about building a guitar by hand, community and children’s services in Renfrew County, the county’s bridges and roads, and places to visit in the Ottawa Valley.
The breakfast’s funds help with the church’s needs, including heaters for the offices, electrical fixtures, kitchen supplies, and new lights for the main Christmas tree. Three or four new men come along each month, and all are welcome.
